AMD builds the transactions and shows you where the fee goes before your wallet is asked. It takes about 0.0162 SOL to launch, plus your first buy. That pays the network fees and the rent for the accounts a launch makes, including 0.00204 SOL for the account that holds AMD for the coin's fee vault, which is not refunded. The first buy is paid in AMD, or in SOL if you choose.
